Field Notes

Description:

This is the second snake sp which I saw living inside the crack in the soil on the trail. it had it's two feet long body neatly folded inside the crack. I noticed it when it had stuck it's neck out to check a cricket chirping. But as soon as it saw me it ducked back in.

One thing is for sure that PN has helped me become more observant, if i had not been on PN,then i would not have noticed the wolf spider carrying spiderlings and understood it too. So thanks to all of you my friends ,for opening my eyes.
There is no hiding from your camera Hema. :) [Sorry but my computer has died so Leuba and I are sharing an old one with a 10" screen! I will probably make many such visual errors.]
