Thank you both for your input. I thought there was a possibility of it being a White-crowned but I was leaning towards Golden-crowned because white-crowned rarely come to Kodiak while Golden-crowned are pretty common: https://www.fws.gov/uploadedFiles/Region_7/NWRS/Zone_2/Kodiak/PDF/knwr_bird_broc_2009.pdf
