Field Notes

Description:

Large Geometrid moth with brown/gray/tan markings. This species does have some variety in pattern but shape remains the same. Outer edge of hindwings are scalloped. This area seems to be mostly this type.

Habitat:

Suburban. Attracted to a porch light at night.
