Field Notes

Description:

Wer hier bleibt, stirbt beim ersten Frost. ///////////////// A most of the time quite numerous, beautiful migratory butterfly. In April the first imagos are coming to us from the south, mate, and from June on flies the first generation which was born here. Sometimes one or two other generations succeed. In autumn most of the adults depart again to the south, 'cause the winter in germany would be to hard for them and they couldn't make it. Those staying here die with the first frost.
