Field Notes

Description:

Female colouration is usually uniform, either brown or green. Males have two common colour forms, green on upper surface & brown on sides, or light brown upper surface & dark brown sides. Forewings are usually very short, but long-winged individuals do occur.

Habitat:

Milkweed of a high grass field.
