Description:

A small butterfly with an electric blue on the upper wing.
The Azure Hairstreak (Hemiolaus caeculus) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in southern Africa.

Habitat:

mixed savanna and forest. Seen in a clearing beside a dirt road.

Thanks Juan. Found a place near where we were staying in Mlawula Nature Reserve that had a particular plant growing that the little Hairstreaks and Blues apparently loved. Went there many times just before sunset when they were feeding and often saw different ones.
