Field Notes

Description:

Relatively large bird with black feathers on its body and iridescent blue/green/purple feathers on its head. Bright yellow eyes. Long tail. This one is a male. (Females have less colorful plumage.) Even though grackles are so common, this handsome guy deserved some fame :)
