Description:

I found this Fern to be very interesting. Each mature leaflet develops into a new leaf with sub-leaflets. This allows an understory plant in the shade to greatly increase the effectiveness of it's CO2 intake and photosynthesis.

Habitat:

In deep shade in a garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
