Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Erebinae. (Underwings, Zales and Related Owlets). Length: 23 mm. Wingspan: 33-43 mm. Common. Earth brown FW has slightly darker median area bordered with yellowish/orange AM and PM lines. Jagged ST line. Hosts: Maple, birch, and walnut.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Attracted to light closest to woods.
