Description:

Small ant inside a half bloomed rockrose flower (Cistus ladanifer). Endemic of the Iberian peninsula. This ant has been associated with the butterfly Glaucopsyche alexis and Tomares ballus and is a host for the ectoparastic fungus Laboulbenia camponoti.

Habitat:

Rockrose. Holm oak forest
