Field Notes

Description:

Hidden within a mobile protective conical case.

Habitat:

On the leaves of a small Lagerestromia plant. There were at least 5-6 of these cases easily apparent to the casual observer. Some were attached directly to the leaf lamina facing the Sun. Others were attached to the under-surface of the leaf by a string of sorts. It was easy to see that breakfast, lunch and tea had been partaken off--the leaf was missing bits.
