Field Notes
Description:
The caterpillar was green and fat with a dull orange head. The antenna were pulled backwards like the reigns of a horse and the body looked spiky. It appeared to have thread clinging to it. It was crawling along at a rapid clip on the railing of the boardwalk.
Habitat:
bald cypress swamp near a lake--on Wright's Bluff Nature Trail
