Field Notes

Notes:

On the morning of day-5 of our rafting-angling camps along Subansiri River I spotted this moth outside my tent frozen in the night frost, just moving its antenna when the first beam of the morning sun fell on its head.

Species ID Suggestions

Pidorus glaucopis

Thanks bayucca for all the support and help towards an ID for this beautiful moth. After going through all the refs by you and Nuwan I'll bet for Eucorma mindanaoensis.
Thanks bayucca for all the help and support towars ID of this beautiful moth
I certainly would, if I could... I already have added all my possible inputs for this one. I cannot help more, maybe Nuwan would take another look into this one.
Thanks bayucca for making it favourite. Could you suggest a final ID for this pl?
Pl don't wind up the discussion. I'm waiting for an ID. Thanks.
Pidorus "all" are red-necks! What about Eucorma sp.? I only found Eucorma mindanaoensis from the Philippines. Any info about Eucroma from India? http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital_Moths_of_Asia/60_ZYGAENOIDEA/Zygaenidae/47_1%20Chalcosiinae/53_Eucorma/Eucorma%20mindanaoensis/Eucorma%20mindanaoensis_960000211.jpg http://www.thebugmaniac.com/index.cfm/page:shop/shopaction:viewshop/shopcategory:197/products_pagenum:1/shopproduct:5449 http://eterusia.blog.so-net.ne.jp/blog/_images/blog/_c4a/eterusia/7241923.jpg http://eterusia.blog.so-net.ne.jp/archive/c20377141-3 Eucorma oblique from Indonesia: http://www.boite-entomologie.com/aff_catalogue.php?groupe=4&famille=99 The color glim of Eterusia is confusing... Eterusia repleta f. urania? http://www.thebugmaniac.com/index.cfm/page:shop/shopaction:viewshop/shopcategory:197/products_pagenum:1/shopproduct:1657
Must be a Zygaenid! to me it's more likely a Pidorus sp. than Eterusia repleta. however they all have a "red neck" !! http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital_Moths_of_Asia/60_ZYGAENOIDEA/Zygaenidae/47_1%20Chalcosiinae/33_Pidorus/Pidorus%20gemina/Pidorus%20gemina.htm http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital_Moths_of_Asia/60_ZYGAENOIDEA/Zygaenidae/47_1%20Chalcosiinae/33_Pidorus/Pidorus%20sp/Pidorus%20sp.htm
Nuwan, any ID of this one? I also checked Arctiinae, but I still tend to Zygaenidae.
Something for Nuwan and Irungbam to check...
Zygaenidae, Chalcosiinae, not Pidorus glaucopis. Eterusia repleta??? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eterusia_repleta.jpg
