Description:

Cleome chrysantha is a perennial of the extreme desert. Two years ago it was found for the first time in S Israel, this is where this picture was taken. It has scented flowers and can be seen only after rare rainy years.

Habitat:

stony extreme desert

Notes:

extremely rare and endangered in S Israel
