Description:
Family: Sphingidae, Subfamily: Macroglossinae (Small Sphinx Moths). TL: 28-38 mm. Wingspan: 45-65 mm. FW is variably light brown to pale green with a thin orange border and wide bands of darker shading. Dull orange HW has grown or greenish patch. Adults feed on nectar. Hosts: Virginia creeper, grape, viburnum.
Habitat:
Woodlands, meadows where host plants are.
