Wildlife Spotting

Thanks for this great series of spottings of Ghost Crabs! See my ID suggestion. These guys are great, right? They sit in their burrow at high tide and come out when the tide goes down, shoveling the upper layer of sand, which contains tiny algae and other detritus deposited by the retreating tide, through their filtering "machine", leaving behind all those balls of "cleaned" sand.
