Field Notes

Description:

This was the prettiest fence lizard I have ever seen! He had lots of shades of brown on his back, and his belly was a very torquise-blue, which came up on the sides enough to get in the photos :)

Habitat:

Saw him basking on a pile of rocks in the afternoon in desert-scrub area. Took 4 people about 15 minutes to catch him, but glad we did!
