Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Sterrhinae (Waves) Medium-sized (wingspan: 20-31 mm) geometer that is pale and rests with wings flat and spread wide. This one common with whitish wings marked with faint wavy brown lines. blackish shading and small black dots and looking like lace. Hosts: Trees and low plants.

Habitat:

Woodlands, meadows, fields, gardens, lawns - Attracted to light. Found on front door.
