Description:

The red-billed tropicbird, also known as the boatswain bird is a tropicbird, one of three closely related seabirds of tropical oceans. Juveniles usually have brown markings on the body, as well as a much shorter tail. One parents will stay with the juvenile on the nest, while the other forages for food which is often attacked by Frigatebirds in the area.

Notes:

The rock cliff shows an adult on the nest after returning from a flight lesson with its juvenile offspring.
