This butterfly is the most recognized skipper in North America. The adults almost never feed on yellow flowers.

Habitat:

Mt. Vernon, VA

Notes:

My first time to VA with my new macro lens and this beauty was showing me the love in the gardens on George's estate. I was in heaven...
