Field Notes

Description:

Green frog with thin white stripe down the side with gold eyelids

Habitat:

Green tree frogs are found throughout the Southeast, but are generally restricted to the Coastal Plain.

Notes:

I spotted this frog while hiking around the Alligator Lake. If you didn't pay any attention you would have missed them. There were about five clinging closely to the young trees rising out of the water or near shore in the dappled shade. Really cool looking with cool colors.
