Description:

This is one of the most common types of wild rabbits found in North America. It's range expanded as people cut down the forests. It has been introduced to New England, Northern Italy, and some western states.

Habitat:

They live in open grassy areas, many clearings, and old fields with many herbs and grass. The love dense shrubs for safety.
