Thanks for helping us! I introduced my students to project Noah and they loved hearing we had an identification!
I asked my Nature Girl (she gave herself that title:) again how the bird was released and she happily said it took a few minutes and then just flew off just fine. I never realized a wild bird like that could be so gentle and tame. It allowed her to put it on her arm and never appeared frightened. Incredible.
Good to hear it was returned to its home. Young birds often have a decreased or lack of fear for humans due to their age (immaturity, inexperience, etc.).
I asked my student to return it to where she found it-her uncle was going to make sure it was ok. Why was it so docile and calm. It trusted my young student
What happened to the bird after this?
