Habitat:

Bay,tide flats and marshlands,grasses and woodlands,forest.

Notes:

My friend Harvey and I were talking and observing late evening bats and birds at the bay. This Coyote was a great surprise spotting. My friend Harvey noticed it and we quickly scrambled for our cameras. The Coyote was swimming in the bay at low tide and came to shore. Geese were in the bay and on the shoreline. Terns were flying over the bay. The Coyote was very sleek while it swam through the water and quietly came to shore. It quickly moved across the shore stopping for a second to glance at us from a safe distance before it hurried off to blend in with the darkening nightfall and tall grasses.
