Thanks, Faredin. But how do I distinguish between the White-legged Damselfly (frankly the legs don't look all that white in the pics I saw) and the Azure Damselfly? To my inexperienced eyes they look the same.

The Wikipedia article states that the Familiar Bluet is native to the US and Canada... Unfortunately I (and the damselfly in question) are in Germany.
