Field Notes

Description:

I watched this plum from flower to fruit last year (2013). I wondered if our wicked cold weather at the beginning of the year would have any impact on its flowering (I was fairly sure that some of the flower buds were killed during a late ice storm in mid-February) I will keep watching this one this year (2014) to see how well it coped with the cold.

Habitat:

Spotted growing along fence of a quarry operation in Kennesaw, GA
