Field Notes

Description:

Large for a flycatcher. Somewhat long tail, lower breast slightly yellowed, visible white wing bars. Head was a little bit darker on the upper half, and the top stuck up just a little bit. It was making a loud "HWEEP" call somewhat consistently.

Habitat:

Mixed woods, predominantly red pine.
