Field Notes

Description:

Grey, can be almost white on underside. Adults range from 1-4 meters. Their elongated upper and lower jaws form what is called a rostrum or snout which gives the animal its common name. This is a common and well known oceanic dolphin. Dolphins are marine mammals.

I love dolphins. They are so beautiful. This spotting was when we were on a dive boat and were going out to swim with huge manta rays. These were a bonus.
