Field Notes

Description:

Caps were about 15-20 cm wide. Caps that were dry seemed to have more wrinkles.

Habitat:

Found on the ground in decaying leaves and needles of a mixed forest. There were 20+ in a small area.

Notes:

The specimen in the last photo has an unidentified mold growing on it.
