Description:

From the info on this Va. herp site below, is saying this is a Garter Snake... This set of images shows the difference between a Ribbon and a Garter Snake being the dark vertical lines on the margins of the supralabial scales being absent on a Ribbonsnake and present on a Gartersnake.. Habitat:

Found in the grass under a treehouse at the edge of the woods.

Notes:

NOTICE: look close at the spider web running to it's head.

Yeah, I'm thinking that too. This one is not the common looking Garter Snake I've typically see around here. Thanks!!!
I believe it to be a Common Garter Snake. Ribbon Snakes often have smoother scales.
