Field Notes

Description:

A long snake of an olive-brown color, with a few darker bands on it's throat.

Habitat:

Found on our doorstep, usually living in grasslands or bushveld.

Notes:

Often found in our area, and often relocated by our family as they pose a threat to our family and the dogs, though when they are not bothering anyone or don't come into the house they are left alone to control the rodent population.

Unfortunately not the best photo of the snake by far, but at least the color is visible
