Field Notes

Description:

Small black wasps

Notes:

On May 7 I submitted a spotting that I described as a transparent bag of liquid and eggs with a white fuzzy top. I put it in an insect cage. On May 14 th I observed small black wasps emerging. It appears that the white cylindrical objects I described as eggs were actually wasp cocoons. I have no idea what species was parasitized by the wasp.
