Description:

small, low growing plant, leaves appear to darken with age, first 2 photos are a different plant than the last 2 but I believe the same species

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this in Kubah national park.

Thanks Craig, think you're right with it being a Gesneriad, but I can't find any good matches to this one. However, the first 2 genera look like some other plants I spotted, that I wasn't sure of.
This really looks like a Gesneriad. Henckelia, Codonoboea, Didymocarpus...?
