Field Notes

Description:

Large eyes. Brown color. When it walks its head pushes forward. Likes sugar water.

Habitat:

Doves are adapted to open country, and are most abundant in the naturally open grasslands of the central prairie state. I found this one in northwest ohio. We have a lot around our house.
