Description:

This tiny, fast-flying, long-legged fly has an iridescent metallic green thorax and a silvery gray abdomen tinged with the same metallic green. The wings have smoky gray banding. Eyes are red.

Habitat:

This photo was taken in my wooded, suburban yard.
