Look online there are plenty of recipe ideas. But maybe the best way to try them for the first time will be simply fried in butter? Note that many recipes will be for dried morels because they are more readily available commercially. But when you've found them yourself I would certainly opt to enjoy them fresh!

One of the most highly prized and priced edible mushrooms in the world. Go Back and pick them! My ID is the most likely species, but they could be a close relative. Either way they are an edible Morchella species.
