Description:

The Laughing Dove is a small pigeon that is a resident breeder in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East east to the Indian Subcontinent. A rufous and black chequered necklace gives it a distinctive pattern and is also easily distinguished from other doves

Habitat:

In a public park with different trees and plats, urban environment.

Notes:

The Laughing Dove is a long-tailed, slim pigeon, typically 25 cm (9.8 in) in length. The monogamous pair care for a clutch of two white eggs. Its call has a musical, bubbly quality, different from the cooing sound of most doves.
The species was introduced to Perth in 1889 and has become established around Western Australia. According to Wikipedia there are eight subspecies to Spilopelia senegalensis.
