Description:

white/yellow flowers on top of long stalks

Habitat:

spotted in a desert mountain wadi with a lot of vegetation, about 1200 m elevation

I am not familiar with Sinai desert grasses, but we have something kind of similar in Spain. Check Tall oat-grass, Arrhenatherum elatius. I have one spotting, must be closely related: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/30840104
