Description:
Adults have brown upperparts with black streaks. Breeding adults have bright yellow underparts with a black "v" on the chest. Flat head with a white eye streak and a slender bill. The tail is short.
Habitat:
Spotted at the Ancient Lakes in eastern Washington. Found in open meadows and grassland in western and central North America.
