Field Notes

Description:

This butterfly is possible to spot all year round.

Habitat:

Mixed wood (prim. Acasia bushes) and grassland. This was found on a plant next to a gravel road. (toghether with 6-7 other species of butterflies)

Notes:

Place for the spotting: Mlawula Nature Reserve, Swaziland. The wingspan is 50–60 millimetres (2.0–2.4 in) for males and 52–65 mm (2.0–2.6 in) for females.
