ok. Thank you Malcolm.
Hi again Telse, the description is mainly useful for unidentified organisms where you can add details which may not be obvious from a photograph such as size; for identified organisms it can be left black although you can add a short story of the encounter if you wish. We need the habitat where you actually saw it so that we can track any changes to habitat where that occurs so we like to have that filled in always.
Thank you for the ID Malcolm and Liam
Hello Malcolm. Sorry about that... Yes, I do understand filling in the Habitat is important. I wasn't on the site for a while. Life gets busy. So I am a few months behind loading photos. In the past few days I have loaded over 50 photos. I guess I missed this one. A few more to go.... I intend to go back and fill in descriptions and habitats. I am a novice and if I stopped and filled out the description for every spotting I just loaded, I'd be doing so for the next 2 years. Lol.
One of the Carpodacus finches, all of which can occur in your area. A lot depends on the habitat where you found it which is why filling out that field is so important!
