Description:

is a small butterfly of the Lycinid family. The female is brown with wing bases pale shining blue and has a less brilliant blue - on its open-wing .Each hindwing has a slender white-tipped filamentous tail at the end of vein

Notes:

The Pea Blue is one of the most widely distributed lycaenids in the world with its occurrence spanning Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia - anywhere where its local host plants, Crotalaria spp can be found.
