Description:

Family: Lycaenidae
This butterfly possesses a pair of "tails" that give this species its name, together with an eye spot where the tails meet the wings. When at rest, the butterfly will rotate the hindwings which causes the tails to move, diverting predators from the more-important parts of the body.

Oh do you smell this? What is that? Oh yes it is a well known Balkan spite :D ha ha ha definitely too much sun and your Balkanic instincts show up :P
Hahaha, Africa has always been my dream place but I don't like it when everyone focus on one thing so I must try and convince people that our species are cool as well :). I have never been diplomatic but maybe it's the too much sun, finally we got summer :)
I think they fly to cool down :D and then chill on the highest point to have a better view :P Let me explain you something that happened with his diplomatic side :D it is something he will totally understand, so there is a process called deletion :D is the same as what had happened to the 2nd X chromosome in male, a part was just cut out and it became an Y :D
I just wish I could take some decent pictures of them! For some stupid reason they fly all the time, and when they sit down it is in a "#¤%%! mango tree! I prefer to take pics of the Swedish ones! And Faredin, what have happened to the diplomatic side of yours? :P
hahahahah there is nothing wrong with a little know African butterflies, because already know almost all European :D
:D maybe you should try something African too ;D ha ha ha
I had lost hope on you and Tina long time ago but now also Jopy disapointed me :)
See Faredin, she is totally into blue :D what do you wait with your blue spotting?
I agree, our butterflies are not so interesting, btw. Tina's spotting is blue :D
I also prefer Tina's spotting just because it's African :P
half a day's flying around a flowers, I could see that it is more brown with two spots on uperside of hindwing..your spotting is great :D
You also have the Common Zebra Blue that is quite similar to your spotting. I think that is the one I have here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/27677004. I guess you are the only one who saw wether it was bright blue or more brown when flying away :)
