Field Notes

Description:

The body is gray, and the head is black with white cheeks.

Habitat:

Above a pond in an oak forest. There was a woodpecker that kept coming to feed the babies in the hole, and the chickadee kept coming up after the mom left, I assume it was trying to get some of the bugs the mom was feeding the babies, but I really have no idea.
