Field Notes

Description:

Mariposa de la familia Nymphalidae, de 5.4 a 6.7 cm, con las alas posteriores tiene una larga cola. Cara dorsal es de color marrón oscuro con 3 rayas marrón claro y 3 puntos blancos cerca de la punta de las alas anteriores, la cara Inferior es de color marrón claro, la mitad basal es de color gris con finas rayas de color naranja. Se distribuye de Argentina hacia el norte a través de Centroamérica a México y las Antillas.

Habitat:

Bosque subtropical perturbado.
