Description:
Small Looper looping around the tip of a leaf.... The only way the larvae of this moth family can move is to connect the 2 tail pseudopods to those of the true legs and then reach forward again. The middle pseudopod legs are missing in this group. They are often called "Measuring Worms" because of the way they walk.
Habitat:
Overgrown field, semi-urban area, outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
