Description:

This woodpecker had a splash of red on it's head. Seemed a little bigger than nutalls.
Could I finally say , I spotted a Ladderback? :)

Sorry to break it to ya, but you won't be finding any Ladder-backed Woodpeckers in the 'Frisco area. It's out of their range.
