Could it possibly be Limenitis arthemis rubrofasciata, instead? It might be best to keep this as Limenitis arthemis. Limenitis arthemis arthemis is usually more of an Eastern species found at lower elevations, whereas Limenitis arthemis rubrofasciata is more of a Western species but appears to be found at higher elevations in the East, too: http://bugguide.net/node/view/302223
