Description:
I've only seen these beautiful birds once or twice before, but these birds were all around this wet area! I came back with my camera today and got these. When they call, they puff up their wings (3rd photo). Sorry these weren't closer (the plants were tall around the water).
Habitat:
Marshy area with cattails. In the middle of the city, but had lots of nice habitat. Next to a university.
