Description:

large, nearly all white weevil, one inch

Habitat:

disturbed forest, urban

Notes:

This weevil was nearly dead when I found it so needless to say it cooperated for a few photos! I spotted this while hiking on a huge, partially forested hill behind the town of Salento. It's not very wild at all but had enough vegetation and forest cover that I consistently spotted cool things the few times I hiked there.
